Red Kite Cottage is a striking detached three-bedroom property at Rowley Stone Cottages near Consett in County Durham. Originally part of Mainsfield Farm dating back to the 1600s, these historic buildings have been beautifully restored into five high-end holiday cottages set within 20 acres of rolling countryside. This is the largest and most impressive of the five sleeping up to six guests.
The Derwent Reservoir is a short distance away offering sailing, fishing, cycling and family walking routes. A welcoming pub is just 30 yards from the door. Supermarkets in Consett are 3 miles away. The Derwent Manor Hotel and Spa is also nearby.
