Grey Gables is a grand Victorian vicarage dating back to 1870 in Old Quarrington, County Durham just 5 miles from Durham city centre. Built to impress, this imposing six-bedroom property sleeps 13 guests and is perfectly set up for large family gatherings, celebrations and reunions. It even gets decorated at Christmas.

Old Quarrington was once the capital of medieval Queringdonshire. Today it sits in peaceful County Durham countryside with walking trails and cycle paths nearby. The 2-acre private garden gives guests serious outdoor space and the private hot tub seats six.

Six bedrooms spread across two floors. First floor has a super king (6ft) with walk-in wardrobe and sound system plus two doubles. Second floor has a kingsize, two doubles with themed murals (Marvel and Formula 1) and a single with a pink theme. Two full bathrooms plus a ground floor WC.

Durham Cathedral and Castle (both UNESCO World Heritage sites) are 5 miles away. Beamish Museum is around 12 miles northwest. Durham city centre offers riverside walks and independent shops within a 15-minute drive.
