Etherley Dene Farmhouse is an 18th-century stone-built farmhouse in Bishop Auckland, County Durham. Built in stages over 300 years, it covers 5,000 sq ft and stands in its own mature grounds with a brook, enclosed garden, stone-walled summerhouse and two BBQs. The hot tub is available by arrangement and makes this a serious option for group celebrations.
Bishop Auckland sits on the edge of the Durham Dales. You're less than 100 yards from a traditional pub, within half a mile of a family pub serving meals and most supermarkets are within a mile. Cycle tracks and river walks surround the farm. Weardale skiing is just 25 minutes away.
The farmhouse sleeps 19 across 8 bedrooms on three floors. Bedroom 1 has a kingsize bed with ensuite.
