The Farmhouse is a detached barn conversion at Bowlees Holiday Cottages in the Durham Dales, County Durham. Sleeping up to 16 guests across 6 bedrooms it sits on an estate covering nearly 60 acres of unspoilt grounds. The ground floor features a former gin gang a family suite with curved walls and a high ceiling. Furnished to a very good standard with a 50" Freeview TV and woodburner.

The estate sits a mile from Wolsingham conservation village with a shop, pub and restaurant just 2 miles away. Tunstall Reservoir and Hamsterley Forest are minutes from the door. On-site shared facilities include a heated 9m x 5m swimming pool, sauna and games room with a full-size snooker table. Fishing is available on the lake in the grounds.

Six bedrooms sleep 16. Bedroom 2 has a 6ft super kingsize bed with a galleried en-suite featuring a huge bath. Bedrooms 3 and 4 have 4ft 6in doubles. Bedroom 1 has a double and two singles. Bedrooms 5 and 6 on the second floor each have two singles. Five bathrooms total.

Beamish Museum is close by. Durham Cathedral is roughly 30 minutes away. High Force Waterfall and Killhope Lead Mining Centre are both within easy reach. The private hot tub sits in the garden with views across the owner's grounds.
