SEN Retreat at Jaxons Kingdom is a ground-floor coastal lodge at Crimdon Dene Holiday Park on the Durham Heritage Coast in County Durham. Purpose-built for families with children who have special educational needs (SEN), every detail has been considered from safety catches on doors to a dedicated sensory corner with calming toys, sensory lights and a blackout pop-up tent.
The lodge sits atop the cliffs with direct access to a vast golden beach below. The Boathouse Bar & Restaurant is directly opposite. Passes for the on-site heated indoor swimming pool and family entertainment are included with your stay.
Sleeping up to 6, the lodge has three bedrooms. The master double bedroom sleeps two adults.

Hartlepool Maritime Experience is a short drive away. Durham Cathedral and Castle (UNESCO World Heritage Sites) make a great day trip. Seaton Carew promenade and the fishing village of Staithes are also within easy reach.
