Inside you get four bedrooms sleeping 9. The master has a kingsize bed and double en-suite shower. Bedroom 2 has a ¾ double bed with en-suite cubicle shower. Bedroom 3 has a kingsize bed. Bedroom 4 is a bunk room sleeping 3 with a double below and single above. All three bathrooms were newly fitted in 2021. There is also a games room with pool table and air hockey plus a sun room with bar area.

Auckland Castle (under 2 miles) houses Zurbarán's Jacob and His Twelve Sons. Hamsterley Forest is 8 miles away with bike trails and a Gruffalo Trail. The National Railway Museum Shildon is 10 minutes' drive. Barnard Castle and The Bowes Museum are around 30 minutes away.
