We are a family of 8. . our children are aged 1223 and we all loved Aurelian house, it felt very homely and comfortable, we had exhausting walks followed by a soak in the hot tub, which is kept immaculate. There is a fence between the hot tubs now and a cover on both of them the pictures are slightly different It was wonderful, the Team are very helpful and friendly Thank you so much! The playing field with the goals in up the road is amazing for those families like ours that like to play Cricket , football volleyball ! Lovely quiet village too. Thanks again!
Just got back after a wonderful stay at this Property. Definitely a 5 rating and really looking forward to staying again. Tip top facilities and comfort surrounded by beautiful countryside and a lovely hot tub Over the years I saw the Chapel being renovated to a very high standard not knowing it was going To be a holiday home. I met Victoria and Elizabeth and were lovely. Absolutely recommended. See you soon.
We absolutely loved this property. It's beautifully done and was spotlessly clean inside. The garden is spacious and the hot tub is a perfect addition. We were two adults and three children and there was more than enough space for us all. It would be great for even larger families too. There is a highchair, travel cot and baby bath. It's located in our beautiful quiet village with plenty to do nearby. We visited Stanhope and Hamsterley Forest. The owner responded quickly to any questions that we had. We will definitely book this property again. Would highly recommend it to anyone.
Beautiful house clean and extremely well presented. Kitchen was well equipped, beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the selection of games too! The owners were extremely helpful throughout our stay. Such a bonus to have a hot tub as part of the stay! Thanks so much for a lovely relaxing holiday.

House was very nice but extremely cold and had to contact owner to turn heating up which felt very controlling after 3 days of freezing they sent someone round with heaters and to check system we left a day early as we were not feeling great being cold

Beautiful property, very clean and brilliant kitchen area. Hot tub was an added bonus. The owners were always on hand if you needed anything. Would highly recommend
Lovely comfortable converted church, high standard of finish. Very comfortable beds and plenty of towels. Only one shower which we knew at booking but would struggle if using for full occupancy. Extremely clean pet friendly but you wouldn't know other than the dog bed and bowls. Hot tub was brilliant with a nice canopy over it to keep the drizzle out.

Aurelian House was an excellent holiday home. The spacious, fencedin garden was perfect for our dog, and it was a lovely touch to have dog toys and a bed for our furry friend. The coffee machine was a great addition, with plenty of coffee and hot chocolate options. The hot tub was superb, and the location in a charming small village with local amenities was a bonus. The only minor issue was that there was no washing airer or place to hang our wet costumes or towels after using the hot tub. Overall, I would highly recommend Aurelian House. It was simply stunning.
