Hadrian Lodge is a detached, ground-floor lodge at Vindomora Country Lodges in Ebchester, on the Northumberland and County Durham border. Set along a quiet country lane with open field views, this is a high-spec self-catering lodge sleeping up to 6 guests. Every lodge at Vindomora has its own private 6-seater hot tub and Hadrian Lodge is no exception.

The River Derwent is on your doorstep. The Derwent Walkway is just a few hundred yards away with cycling routes and public footpaths close by. A pub is within a mile and village amenities are half a mile away. This is proper countryside with easy access to towns and attractions.

The lodge has 2 bedrooms sleeping 6. Bedroom 1 is a 4ft 6in double with a 32" Smart TV. Bedroom 2 has a zip-and-link setup two 3ft singles that can be joined. There's also a double sofa bed in the living area. One shower room with heated towel rail serves the lodge.

Durham Cathedral (UNESCO World Heritage Site) is 15 miles away. Hadrian's Wall World Heritage Site is reachable within 30 minutes. Hexham market town is 15 miles away with Hexham Abbey and Hexham Old Gaol. Corbridge with its cobbled streets and cafés is just 10 miles away.

The nearest railway station is Metheringham, though for this location the most practical rail access is via Newcastle Central or Durham stations, both within around 15 - 20 miles. A taxi or hired car from either station is the best way to reach the lodge.
