The Dun Cow Reviews

Amazing holiday home, house and garden were great. The hot tub was a highlight of the accommodation. Such a pretty village with lots of lovely walks for the dog. Would highly recommend.

Large property which had everything we needed and more. Well equipped kitchen, very clean. Comfortable beds. There is a spiral staircase to the 2 single bedrooms. I’m 5’4” and did not have any trouble standing in the room but I’m not sure if that would be the case for someone much taller. The outside area houses the hot tub and is a real sun trap. We did not use the village shop but it was just a few minutes walk from the property. We had a meal in the village pub one evening and all said the food was good and felt it was value for money. There are lots of walks starting at the property of various lengths. We had a trip to Durham and used the park and ride which cost us £2.10 each return. Would I recommend the property. Absolutely.
