Grey Gables is a lovely property, it is really clean including the hot tub. The house was huge, pictures didn't do it justice. The only reason I did not give 5 stars overall is due to the large aga type stove not working, on checking this was not wired in so did not complain to the owners as we were only staying 3 days and as it was not wired in it wasn't a fault with the equipment but it did make cooking for 12 difficult with only a standard hob/oven. Having said that I would definitely stay again but possibly consider the type of food to cook. Owners were in touch with lots of info prior which was great and the welcome pack was also a nice touch.

We stayed at Grey Gables with family to celebrate a Golden Wedding. There was something for everyone and we had an amazing time! The ladies loved the hot tub, the gents loved the games room and the kids loved everything! The house is full of charm with just the right mixture of old features and modern facilities. Absolutely perfect for a family gathering and we will definitely be coming back!

Wow.. what an amazing house, the photos don’t do it justice.. everything is finished to a high standard.. hot tub was bubbling away nicely for our arrival.. little extras like towels n flip flops.. air fryer.. coffee machine.. welcome pack and wine n chocolates left.. garden was lovely for the puppies .. lovely walk from leaving the gates .. dining room was set up for royalty (even tho we didn’t use it, it was beautifully set) just couldn’t fault a thing and will definitely be back (as a big family, get togethers are important.. n what a way to make memories than to borrow your beautiful home for the weekend… thank you so much.
