From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel really welcome. When the water main burst a few days in, they were quick to help, which we genuinely appreciated. The location is perfect - nestled in gorgeous countryside with stunning views of Durham moorland, yet just a short walk into Lanchester with its pubs and eateries. The property itself is well-equipped, with a hot tub, outdoor dining, barbecue, fire pitand even a quirky Harry Potter cupboard! It's a great spot for a relaxing break.

We had such a lovely stay at this cottage! It's really well-equipped, with everything you could think of and more. The space was perfect for our group of 10 celebrating a birthdayand the owner was genuinely helpful and eager to hear if we had any suggestions. The location is ideal-private enough for a peaceful break but close to Lanchester and some great walks. Definitely a place we'd come back to!

The outdoor area is perfect when the weather's nice - a lovely spot for dinner or relaxing by the fire pit with a drink. The owners go above and beyond to make sure everything's perfect. Location's great too, especially if you're into cycling - the railway trail behind the house offers miles of traffic-free riding. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at this place! The house looks stunning and each room is beautifully decorated, with some really interesting touches. The welcome hamper was a lovely surpriseand the hot tub was just what we needed after a long day. Lucy, the owner, was super helpful and friendly. Plus, it's in a great spot-closer to the village than we thought, so we could walk to some nice cafes and restaurants easily. Would definitely return!
