The private hot tub on the patio was perfect for evening stargazing and unwinding after days exploring the Durham countryside.
Access to the indoor swimming pool was fantastic, especially for families with children who used it daily regardless of weather.
Set in 60 acres of grounds with stunning views of the North Pennines, the peaceful setting was ideal for a proper countryside break.
The kitchen had everything needed for self-catering, making family meals easy and convenient during our stay.
Everyone commented on how well they slept - the comfortable beds and quiet location made for perfect nights' rest.
